Caregivers

Companions and Caregivers – are the same

Caregivers are compassionate professionals who care for a client while providing him with companionship. Common duties of private companion are: assist with the bathing, hygiene, and grooming; prepare and serve meals; provide grocery and clothes shopping, housekeeping, laundering, assist with recovery from hospital stays, provide medication reminders, arrange social outings and hobbies, etc.

Some people think that a private companion is only good helper in completing basic tasks or household duties. In reality, caregivers can bring much more benefit than simply performing basic hygiene and household tasks. They yield mental stimulation and emotional support for those who simply need a friend by their side. As we age, we tend to lose touch with friends and distant relatives because are less able to travel.
